Originally from the south of France and passionate about skiing, we wanted to pass on our passion to our children and buy a property in the mountains. We quickly opted for Alpe d'Huez, and in particular its historic village of Huez.
Nestling at an altitude of 1460m, it offers the authenticity of a mountain hamlet, with its charming little streets and peaceful surroundings, as well as direct access to one of France's most prestigious ski areas. The Huez Express lift takes you up to 1850 in just 5 minutes. The lift is 120m from the chalet. You can ski back to the house on the blue ‘village’ piste, which is also 120m away!
This chalet has allowed us to recharge our batteries as a family for many years. As our children have grown up, we've decided to take advantage of it outside the school holidays and share our ‘haven of peace’ with other families.
